Are business plan idea safe to send to venture capitalist firms?
I am looking to send a business idea to a venture capitalist firm, and dont know if its possible for them to simply steal the idea from me and produce it themselves. Is there anything I can do to safeguard this from happening?

Venture Capitalist firms are interested only in investing, earning interest and recovering their monies back. If you go to small shops the risk you mention can exist, standard companies will not be interested in stealing ideas, they will want the details of the idea only to evaluate the project. To safeguard this from happening patent or copywrite your product if it is something unique. This will save you from the thefts you fear.
