Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for seeing a concert at Lakewood Amphitheater in Atlanta?
I am going there to see Creed on Sept. 11th. We all have lawn seats(i know they’re probably not that good but at least we are there) and i need to know some tricks and tips- like can i bring a blanket to sit on, can i sneak in some airplane bottles of liquor where to park etc. Thank you.

Parking is not a problem…plenty there and in the lots around the location. Make sure you eat well before you go. Food/snacks are very high priced and not much of a selection, and you’ll pay up to $10 for a tall beer. Get caught pouring the small bottles and you’ll get kicked out…is it worth the risk? Don’t be surprised if they check bags/purses at the gates.
Some websites I looked at said you can’t bring anything in, others were vague…I would recommend calling their office 404/443-5000 to make sure about the blanket. One site said they rented lawn chairs, but only at certain events and it didn’t say which certain events…don’t you just love it when they’re so helpful?!?!?
