What are the Average Costs of having a Contractors license in california?
I’m considering getting my License
C-6CABINET, MILLWORK AND FINISH CARPENTRY
I also know you need to be Bonded, and Insured for Workers Comp.
Id like to know what the fee’s are, and what they are based on.
Say, i do $50k in work a year doing it full time or only $3k /yr doing it on the side.
This is my 6th year doing finish trim but i have 7.5 years in construction. How hard is the test?

The cost for your licence will be 400.00 to the clsb .Your bond will cost you $195.00 for a two year $12500 bond .A good school will cost you $600.00 (I recamend you go to a school) . I used Contractors Brokerage Service Inc in Rancho Cordova and passed the B exam and the law exam the first time .there # is 800-750-bond(2663)
