What types of business are good to target for cleaning?

An apartment facility contact my friend a long time ago about doing seasonal summer cleaning at her apartment complex-about 15 units total, and I’ve heard some realty companies will hire companies to clean out the homes before they are shown….And then of course you have your dentists offices, doctors offices, dental clinics…….what other types of businesses should we be targeting for our cleaning business?

The best concentration so far for your cleaning business is apartment complexes and buildings. You must at least look at a client that will let you clean at least more than 10 units complex. The more the better. The reason for this is for better concentration and focus. It will be easy for you to scrutinize the work of your staff if you concentrate and focus in one place. Look into Hospitals and nursing homes as part of your client base. Government buildings is also a good business client. Health clubs and spas need constant cleaning. Go for clients that need constant cleaning not periodic cleaning. Most buildings, hospitals, spas outsource their janitorial work. Good luck

I clean small offices and totally agree with the other answer…target businesses that must have clean spaces. You’d be surprised how many our unhappy with the cleaning company they use now. Believe it or not, funeral homes are also a good target. Realty companies are hard to get work from-they’re cheap. But if you want to do private homes, placing advertisements and business cards at gyms and country clubs are great, after all, the members can afford the fees, so they can afford you. I have more tips-particularly how to do an estimate to win the deal on my Squidoo len-the link is in My Profile.
