How can a diesel engine be modified for efficiency in relationship to gas consumption?
I keep asking and persons keep laughing am I asking the wrong question. Buses burn to much fuel and I need to make payroll.
Ihave seen bikes chopped and cars chopped but what about a bus?

Tell the drivers not to jump on the throttle. All it does is waste fuel as the older systems just add more fuel to the constant air flow and the engine has a governor that limits the RPMS.
When you see Black Smoke coming constantly from the exhaust, time to back off for better fuel economy…

In newer electronically controlled diesel engines there are many different products available to increase power, as well as fuel efficiency. A lot of times aftermarket products become available that are much better engineered than the stock parts such as fuel injectors, lubricants, etc….by installing the parts you can see significant improvements. Letting the engine breathe better is a good way by getting a better flowing/filtering intake and a better flowing exhaust system.
