I have a great business idea, but I need help to achieve and build my restaurant. How do I find funding?
I am new to business….as a matter of fact, I don’t know really anything about business. I have a great idea for a business. I know it would succeed, but I just need funding. I don’t anywhere near the amount of money to fund this project. What is the process of finding someone, or an organization to fund this project?

Go to your local Small Business Association. Look in the phone book or call your Chamber of Commerce to find the number. The SBA is a free resource for people who want to start a business. It’s a great help, they will walk you through the entire process.
Also, go to the SCORE website: http://www.score.org/index.html
Here you will find many useful business tools. You can print out a template for a business plan here as well. I’d recommend printing that out and start working on your business plan. Most banks will not even consider financing a new business without a solid business plan. The SBA can help you with this too.
