What is the best way to start a nonprofit organization? Where do I start?
Looking to start a non profit organization in my city. Where do I start? I thought about writing or hiring someone to help we write for a grant. I know that I need permits. I don’t even have a name for the non profit but I think I want the profits to go to the environment. Help repair parks, wetlands locally and eventually help on a large scale. Where do I start? Non profits for dummies? Thanks.

Well, for you to be able to start a successful NGO, i think the first thing you must do is gather up a dedicated team and have an overall plan/goal(s) that act as the base of your NGO. Depending on where you live, you need to ask around and see how you could make it official and legal and acknowledged (this step shouldn’t be that hard). From then on, you’re ready to begin!
