What type of businesses would hire with only 10 days availability a month?
I am in need of part time work as my current industry (airlines) is getting worse. My job as a pilot has me on call 20-21 days a month and I only have about 10 days a month that I know for sure that I can work. Who would be willing to hire someone with such a strange schedule? I currently live in the Charlottesville, VA area if anyone on here knows anything. Thank you!

The only places I can think of are fast food restaurants or a local pizzeria. They usually are always hiring and would take anyone for 1/3 of the month to run the cash register or something. Good luck though.

I would try to get into the restaurant industry. If you have no experience, I might try valeting. Both of these jobs have very flexible schedules….and are willing to work with you. For valeting I would check local high end restaurants first, b/c you will be cash only basis. Hotels would be my second choice, because they give you checks.
