How to find out if my business idea will work?

I have a business idea that my friends seem to think is a great idea. How can i find out if the public would enjoy coming to my business? The idea is unique to any place I’ve seen before and my targeted audience is mainly males above the age of 20.
I’m looking for strategies to find out if my audience likes it not whether you like it

    you would find out by searching forums or groups that involve your business or other entrepenuers
